Plot bunny #64
Lucius Malfoy or Lucien Mallory as he was called now, was living in the outer banks of NC. He faked his own death with the help of his friend, Severus Snape. Severus was the only person who knew Lucius was still alive and well.
He breathed in the salt air as he walked along the oceans’ edge. He had his hair tied back in a pony tail and was wearing swimming trunks, tank top and had a slight tan. He chuckled softly to himself knowing that he had separate bank accounts for this type of situation. Bank accounts that Narcissa didn’t know about. So he was well off and didn’t have to work.
He sat down in the sand watching people walk by. He tried his best not to sneer at the muggles. Since he’s pretending to be one. He rubbed his face thinking, "I really miss my wand."
When he heard a familiar voice, "I don’t believe it! Of all the places he would’ve picked here!" The woman fumed outloud. Lucius turned to the person who was arguing with herself. He figured that she was in her twenty’s, her brown, curly hair pulled up and she looked mad.
Hermione Granger, or Alicia Stewart as she was now called was ended upset. She was upset with one Severus Snape. She was proud that she faked her own death but Severus somehow suspected she was still alive. So she made him take a wizarding oath and send her away. He had sent her here without telling who else beside her was in exile. He only told her that, "You won’t be alone Miss Granger."
She huffed and sat down next to Lucius without realizing it. Lucius raised an eyebrow curiously wondering why she looked so familiar. It nagged him to no end when his peaceful exile was interrupted by this beautiful woman.

Plot Bunny #64
Chapter 1
"The Serpents are cunning to the core." Lucius spoke the code wards to her. Hoping it was the right person, or he’ll owl Severus and give him a peace of his mind! "The Gryffindors are brave as lions. Whoever came up with the code words is a…is…" she was lost for words as she stared at the tall, blond, brown eyed man.
"Do I know you? You remind me of someone." Hermione or Alicia asked Lucius suddenly. He smirked getting up holding his hand out to her. She reluctantly took it not knowing his name.
"Do you have a place to stay?" he asked her softly as they walked along the water’s edge. "Err…no!" she blushed realizing that he had the upper hand.
"I don’t even know your name?" She asked cocking her head to one side. "Lucien, Lucien Mallory and you?" "Alicia, Alicia Stewart." She said giving him her fake name.
She thought to herself, "We are stalemate on this one." Lucius glanced at her trying to remember where he had seen her. "Did she go to school with Draco?" he thought as he led them to his cottage.
"Nice, very nice." Hermione complimented him as she saw the cottage was two story with a jacuzzi. "And you live here alone? Where would you go if a hurricane comes thru?" "I have acquired a house inland." He informed her thinking she had won that round.
"Do you have clothes?" he questioned her wondering if she had a wand on her. She blushed. "Well, err no. I do have money. "Good. We will go shopping then." Lucius told her as he showed her her bedroom and bathroom. "Mine is right across the hall. If you ever need me that is." Lucien smirked at her. "Could we go shopping now?" she asked flirting with him. He smiled and replied, "Of course."
Two hours later, Alicia had all the things she needed. Lucien waited patiently as she tried on different bathing suits. His eyes swept over every time she modeled one in front of him. Alicia smirked noticing how Lucien was trying to remain calm. After dinner they headed home. "I wonder how the war is going?" She murmured softly as he opened the door. "We won’t know until our contact owl us."
"What if he’s dead?" she murmured worriedly letting that bit of information slip out. He grinned thinking, "She knows Severus!" Did our contact teach you, oh shall I say Potions?" He noticed her expression thinking he got the upper hand. "Why that conniving, little…." "Tut, tut Miss Granger, you wouldn’t want to blow your cover to the muggles?" he smirked figuring out who she was at last.
chapter 2
Chapter 2
Hermione’s mouth dropped open when they entered the den in Lucius’ cottage. Lucius dropped the bags on the floor waiting for her to reveal his true identity. Hermione noticed on closer inspection that Lucien’s eye coloring was actually grey. She knew only one person with grey eyes like that, Draco, or his father. "Damn Severus! When I get home…" her thoughts drifted off as she realized that Lucius had the audacity to smirk at her.
"How the hell did you find out about my identity Lucius?" she asked flirting with him as she revealed her true form to him.
Lucius had dropped his glamour as soon as she realized who he was. He smirked again and replied softly, "Well Severus had to pick the one intelligent person to send to me to keep me company. Otherwise he’ll know I’ll go insane living by myself."
Hermione crossed her arms in defiance realizing that she had news to bring to his family. "Well Severus did give me this to you. I didn’t realize that it would be you that I would be staying in exile with. Harry and Ron doesn’t even know that I’m here. I faked my own death and you?"
"Yes, to escape Voldermort. My own father had forced me to join at a young age. Tell me Draco isn’t following in my footsteps?" he asked her worriedly as she handed the letter to him.
"No." Hermione replied quickly noticing that Lucius relaxed after that. She left him to read the letter alone.
"Who figured that Dumbledore’s spy was actually Lucius Malfoy." Hermione thought as she realized she owed Severus Snape a wizarding debt. She groaned softly thinking, "He’s so getting it when I get back home!"
"Nooo!" She heard Lucius crying out loud and rushed back just in time to see him sinking to his knees crying.
"Lucius? My god, what is wrong?" Hermione questioned in concern. Her heart going out to him. "He must have received some bad news. She caught Narcissa is dead, on the letter and thought, "Oh no."
She wrapped her arms around him holding him tight murmuring, "You’ve got me Lucius."
