Ooh, it was a treat to see three chapters of this pop up on my flist, even if it did keep me up half an hour past my bedtime. :D I don't want to spam you with comments, so I'll just stick all my thoughts in one on this entry--apologies if it gets a little long
( ... )
You're right that there's a big mood swing between books 6 and 7 -- but you can't keep Yuri down for long! :)
Re: the bedsheets: I actually went to google "asiatic black bear" to see the crescent shaped markings. Yuri is so adorable. :D
Re: Flynn: Yep, we get a whole ton more backstory which makes her a lot more interesting. I love the way she and Yuri are both trying to figure out Murata. :D She's got a lot more character development to do, too...
Unfortunately, I am a terrible person who really wants to say, "But wait till you see what happens next!!" in response to a great many things... which reminds me of a certain boy coming up in Chapter 5... but I digress

Thank you so much~ I love Anissina and her crazy inventions, I think she is my favourite character.
A time ago I wondered how would be the relationship between Greta and the others mazoku, besides Lady Chery and Wolfram. I thought it´d be a little dense, with problems because of her being human, but the more I read I get more and more relaxed about it. It really seems to be very good I thought that mazoku could be "racist" or something with her.
Well, and then is when I realized my english is still much better than my german XD Not perfect though :/
You're welcome! I put a link to your page of translation links at the top, hope that's okay! I think it's really useful. :)
It's so hard to pick a favorite character when there are so many great choices! :D But yes, Anissina and her inventions are amaaaazing. :D Even though they can sometimes backfire like in chapter 5... :D
That's an interesting point about Greta and the Mazoku -- racism is not usually easy to get rid of. But if she can win over Hube, she can probably win over anyone!
I had wanted to begin translating the 6th novel myself and enlist your help, but you started way ahead of me. You guys are doing a great job and if you would like an extra beta-reader I can help with that.

Hi! I just realized there were some KKM comments on this chapter I never replied to, sorry about that! It was a busy summer; I didn't have much time for translating or livejournal. I just posted two more chapters without remembering your comment, but if you're still interested, I can definitely let you take a look at the next chapter when I finish it. The more eyes the better, to iron out the wrinkles translating leaves. :)
You have done an amazing job translating this. It really reads like a professional translation.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to read the novels. TBH, I didn’t expect to like them that much, especially since I’d heard that they were written from Yuri’s POV. In the anime he seems bland and occasionally annoying to me, especially in the 3rd season. But in the novels he’s delightful. He seems a lot more perceptive and capable. And I just love his thought process and his internal monologues, which I think you did a great job translating.
All the characters seem more interesting and well defined. I even liked Flynn which I found rather one-note and boring in the anime.
I hope you continue the wonderful job you are doing.
Hi! I just realized there were some KKM comments on this chapter I never replied to, sorry about that! And yours was such a complimentary comment, too. *preens*
Yep, delightful is a good word for Yuri. I love his POV. And all the other characters shine in the novels as well. Flynn gets even better than you've seen so far, in my opinion. :)
Anyway, yay, two more chapters posted -- I must admit chapter 5 is one of my favorites, being the Gwendal fan that I am. :)
