I know I already fangirled like mad over this chapter before, so I will restrain myself for now.

...except to go OMG holy hell that last illustration. I can't stop looking at it--scary!Conrad is the best, creepiest thing I've seen all day. (And it makes me want to give all those people who say Conrad is 'boring' and 'too nice' a good shake.)

Actually, I can't quite remember -- did I really post all of this chapter, or just the Conrad scene? Did I post the Yuri-Murata-at-the-beach part from the beginning? *memory failure*

And yeah, scary!Conrad... and I find shocked!Yuri almost as great. His dumbstruck face makes Conrad even scarier.

I think it's probably better to read it all in order -- sorry I didn't just do that from the beginning. But at that time, I had no idea whether I'd actually finish the whole book.

That first part is good for establishing the self-doubt Yuri still has at the beginning of this book.
