Let's Go Sailing and how catchy "Love Song" is
This is a band I've recently been listening to, along with lots of Eisley and some A Fine Frenzy and Sara Bareiles's "Love Song". It's good to listen to bands that don't pay a lot of attention to vocal calesthenics but deliver nice lyrics that can actually be understood. Their sound is dreamy, and the lyrics make me want to write Miong stories all over again.
One song that particularly stands out for me is "Sideways." Click here for lyrics. But their most popular song (of course, by their own standard) is "All I Want Is Your Love." I also love "Better Off." I haven't heard much from them, but they're really good. This is pop at its best, I think.
I am also kind of obsessed with Sara Bareiles's "Love Song" an ironic love song about not wanting to write a love song. Heh. Anyway, like John Mayer said, it's got a killer chorus that's so infectious you would really have to hate music in order for you not to like it, at the very least.
