I want a yelling, rolling, bouncing LocoRoco stuffed toy
My little sister, little genius that she is, got herself a PSP for Christmas. (I, however, got gifts that I helped choose, which is really not a bad thing since I hate receiving gifts that I can't use, but still, where's the element of surprise in there? Didn't they invent wrapping paper for a reason?) Anyway, so far the PSP has only two games: one is about skiing, I think, and one is this adorable game called LocoRoco with annoying J-Pop sounding songs and cute round characters that roll around and bounce around and yell "Oy!" when they bump into something.
I haven't actually tried playing the game yet, partly because I'm not a big video games, er, gamer (something with my hands and eyes not being well coordinated), and more because of the fact that since my sister received the gift, she has never been able to take her hands off it. But I have had the rare opportunity of actually looking over my sister's shoulder while she played it, and when I saw how the round thing would go "Oy!" and its eyes dart around as it bounces off a wall or something, I told her to do it over and over again. Of course, little sister got annoyed and told me to go do something else, because apparently the objective of the game was not to let the round thing bounce against some things.
So now, I want to know if the cute Harajuku people have finally invented merchandise to go along with this expensive game. Because I'm pretty sure I will never get a hold of that heavy PSP thing unless it's to wipe off its screen, and I'm also pretty sure that I will never have the patience to press buttons just to get the stupid thing going. I just want a yelling "Oy!", rolling, bouncing, LocoRoco stuffed toy to yell "Oy!", roll around, and bounce against walls with. I mean, if you're going to be an awkward person, might as well have a weird loud annoying toy to be your sidekick right?
