So, my summer has started, in terms of working. Trying to get more hours at the Hut, but it'll be hard. I'm really kinda worried about how much money I'll make this summer. The thing is, I cannot tolerate a long time in that place. It's stressful and annoying and will continue to get more so, as the summer continues. The start of summer school kids coming in at buffet has begun and that's a bad sign. I'm kind of hoping that the refurbishment, which makes it look less like a fast food place, will deter some kids.
This week I -
-finally got more information about Ehime. Now have been told I have to rush, rush, rush to get things, which I don't appreciate. I don't think they realise that getting a doctor's appointment and a certificate made is going to take longer than 5 minutes.
-dropped my phone in a toilet at work. Walked into the cubicle, slightly knocked the wall with my leg as I closed the door. Phone was in the obviously unsecure pocket of my 3/4 trousers. Phone fell out of said pocket and dropped in with a splash. Despite the fact that it was drowned and did not work again, I think I would have had to bathe it in phone sanitiser before I would ever put it near my face again. Called Orange, glad of my insurance plan, and got a new one sent out yesterday.
-did something that maybe could have seen as unwise, or rash, but found myself quite relaxed about it, which was strange.
-went to the Ball last night. Was utterly unimpressed by how much my ticket cost and what that apparently didn't pay for. Was home before 12 and we just watched tv for a couple of hours.
-also unimpressed that my dress didn't fit me. At Easter, fitted fine and I didn't even have to wear a bra underneath. Tried it on yesterday morning in preparation. Without a bra, when I put my arms up, it actually slipped down. With the added traction of a bra, it stayed on, but still slipped a bit and was kind of gape-y... Which means I've lost weight, but not at a convenient time! Typical...
Today, am not doing much of anything, though I should be.
