So much to do this week, it's thoroughly depressing -_-

Today, my plan is:

From 1pm
Look at the draft of my essay Mitch sent back with his comments and see how far I could get doing it today to hand in on Thursday. (Do I need additional books, etc). I do need to do a tad more research, but on the whole he's been pretty gentle with the criticism, so that's reassuring...though it's Mitch, so he does things like thank himself in his comments when I've referenced his lecture >_>;
Methodology short essay. Must be done today, to hand in portfolio tomorrow.
Religions revision. Write down all the definitions and have someone test me...
Write up second script for Roleplay 2 for the Jaanese Oral

From 5pm
Laura is coming round, we're going to have  revision session and try to sustain conversations with each other for seven minutes. (This is the first part of the exam, unfortunately).
From 8pm
My group for Methodology is coming round for a bit as I have a VCR. We have to watch the video of our class and then write up our reflection.

I made a mistake in talking to Shigeki last night on Skype and asking for some help on checking what I'd written for the oral exam. He then decided to have a seven minute conversation with me through text to see how I held up. I'd worked til 10.45; my brain was not dealing with grammar well. Hence my sleeping in til 12 today..

Speaking of work; eurgh, eurgh, erugh, eurgh, eurgh.

Point 1: Haha, yes, I'm going to come straight to you. That waving and shouting at me from another waitress's section just makes me want to drop everything and come to your service.
Point 2: I can see you, yes. However, as you can see, I am actually serving a takeaway customer at the till. Shouting 'helloooo' isn't funny, it's rude. And I will prolong this transaction for as long as possible.
Point 3: If I say 'here's a couple of menus, if you'd like to take a seat, I will just clean and get a table ready for you'...please don't follow me around like a pair of lost sheep.
Point 4: How can I help you if you choose to way overfill your salad box and then realise you can't close it? Look at the box first, then fill it.
Point 5: Mr Manager, do not look at us with irritation. Let's examine the situation: you're sitting in the middle of the bar area, obstructing the path to glasses, milkshake stuff, and the door of the fridge. We are extremely busy and therefore running in and out of the bar preparing drinks. Of course we're gonna ask you to move!
Point 6: Fellow servers; if the dishwasher has finished.....EMPTY IT. If the glass tray is full, PUT IT IN THE DISHWASHER. Do not balance a large tray full of dirty glasses on  top of the ice box because you can't be bothered dealing with it. It WILL be knocked off and it WILL smash everywhere.
It took me two minutes last night to clean up the dirty glasses lying around and get the bar area looking reasonably tidy again - it's just that easy. Why can't you try it?
Anyway...
Point 7: Thank you, mysteriously nice tippers  yesterday. (Every table who tipped was leaving me like £4 a go. It was bizarre...)

I have been thinking about the summer recently and all of the things that I can't do now that I plan to do then. Then I realised, like last summer, I may just be working all the time. Which usually leads to being too tired to play games and watch films, read books a good portion of the time. Which is a shame...after Japanese Cinema, I really wanted to watch some more films by certain directors, or rewatch some things. For example, one of the first films was Dolls, which I really liked, but could only watch half of because of time constraints. I didn't go to the screening, but rented it out instead. Though Yuna liked my analysis of it during the lecture >_>; So I suppose you can pick up a lot in the first half, heh.
And I want to watch some more 'classic' films because I don't think I have watched enough of them.

I also miss playing epic RPGs. I want to be able to lose myself in a good linear storyline for a good few hours. Right now, I'm occasionally playing Rhythm Paradise on my DS. (Not the English version, Otoha lent me her Japanese version during Easter and it's pretty easy to follow). Very good, but only fills small pockets of time.

Maybe I'll have to wait til August..
