[The laughter is forced to subside and is cut off with a deep and slow shaky breath as Yamamoto really pushes himself up and sits beside the said fish. That he is not hugging at all but nevertheless, Yamamoto does look down at his hand.

And the sandal.

It's a horrid sandal, now that he thinks about it. And looks at it.]

Yep, this is yours. Here, you can have it back. It's horrible.

[Yamamoto tosses the sandal over and somehow tries to straighten his clothes -- ]

I fell asleep on the fish. It's not like I could get up seeing as how you were quite comfortable where you were sleeping --

[ -- and stops promptly when he feels something odd in the inner pocket of his blazer. He didn't feel it before but then again there are parts of him that are still a bit numb from the beating last night along with the alcohol. But now that his mind is starting to actually function a little bit closer to normal levels, he does feel something around his side. A pain that is not from the beating.

And Yamamoto carefully looks and somehow extracts the other sandal from his blazer pocket.

Well. I'll know the sandal shaped bruise is now Gokudera's doing.

His facial expression drops to something that is between confusion, surprise, hilarity and perhaps mild irritation -- after all, who the hell pockets a sandal?]
