We didn't really mean to ship them, really. It just happened.
Allen normally got up early, but not for reasons like this and not quite this early.
‘Late’ from the previous day would seem to apply more.
He needed air, but needed more to not disturb any of the other of the occupants in the house. Allen needed to not think about that dream and… whatever was behind it.
Really, he’d be able to shrug and laugh this aside to himself (mostly) as… well, he’d just shrug it aside and move on except he knew…knew that someone he didn’t want to would see it.
That's what made this place beyond difficult.
Lenalee. Cross. He just… Cross he understood for why he would pry into it. The man was just Cross. Lenalee… … Well, Allen just knew she’d see it and that was that.
He just needed some time to himself to think about how he’d ever deal with her seeing that and so many things he both didn’t want to tell her and didn’t understand himself.
With that, because he had tried without success for what seemed like hours now to get back to sleep after that dream, he quietly dressed himself, though the uniform jacket was foregone for the time being, and slipped out of the room, sliding the door shut behind him with careful silence.
Just time for some air outside then and time to...
Well, the whole thing was just unnerving, even as Timcanpy whirled in attempted consolation around him.
