After leaving Byakuya's home (which seemingly felt like for forever), Rukia made her way to Raisato. She had promised Rin that she would come visit when she was feeling better. Thankfully, the 'feeling better' part made reference to her physical condition.
Mental and emotional was something else.
After her own dream the day before, Rukia was fighting a losing battle. Everything living thing (yes, this included shinigamis) needed sleep. But no, she refused. Sleeping and staying awake... she couldn't escape their horrors. At this point, she wasn't tired (yet), but felt emotionally drained. There was too much going on between her, Byakuya, and Renji that made her overly frustrated.
She had to get away and seeing Rin was the perfect excuse.
It definitely didn't take her three days to get to Raisato considering Rin mentioned that was how long it took her. It took Rukia about forty minutes, flashing stepping the entire way. But her body felt sluggish and she could have definitely made it there sooner. She wanted to contact Rin, but the heaviness she felt after Byakuya's dream didn't leave the girl in her right mind. But putting a post on the network would mean the others could find her (after all, she didn't want to be found right now, masking her reiatsu to be barely noticeable) and she didn't know how to filter things just yet (working with the device was strange enough).
But for now, she would have to look for Rin on her own. She remembered the girl's appearance considering their one video message back and forth; it was enough for Rukia to go on. How she felt didn't matter. She was breaking, falling apart on the inside, but she would definitely smile. A smile to mask how she was really feeling.
