Who: L Lawliet and Hoshigaki Kisame
Where/When: Himorogi ==> Kirigakure; Week 2, Day 4, late morning/early afternoon, soon after
this dream.
Status: Closed
Style: Action
Warnings: L is a strange, strange little man. Also, possible lulz.
(
To tell the truth, Kisame can't think of a better day to go out for a little hike. )
The sword doesn't help.
The detective angles his neck, tilting his head backward so as to look the other in the eye. For all that Kisame's face resembles a shark's, the warmth in his eyes refute additional resemblances. In fact, it's difficult, now, to treat him with caution beyond the superficial: he reminds L too much of a feral Matsuda. ]
It's good to meet you, Kisame-san. You surpassed my expectations. I didn't expect you to find me this quickly.
[ Even as jaded a man as L can appreciate the ancestral beauty of the surrounding land -- its remarkable breadth, the ocean shimmering silver, the arc of sky seemingly stretching overhead and into infinity -- it's a stark contrast to the city life he been living in the Kanto region of Tokyo. ]
I'm afraid I'm out of my element, Kisame-san. I've never hunted in my life.
[ As ever, he speaks in the soft, serious lilt, belying the power behind his title which, coincidentally, happens to be his name as well. ]
Should we begin looking for a home, or begin my studies? I can multi-task, so if you don't mind, I prefer to do them simultaneously.
