[When Iruka moves, he is quick, catching up to Akira and instead, he waits for him to break the illusion himself. But it has been a while now and while he admires his student for getting through all of the other traps, a part of him - one that isn't irritated, annoyed and nervous given their current situation and the war being fought on the surface - notes, if they survive this, if they live through this, he swears on his life he is going to make sure Akira gets more Genjutsu training.

He clamps a hand down on Akira's shoulder - but not after he resets the other traps once more - and a firm 'Kai' leaves his lips, cutting the illusion in half so that now, he is standing before his student instead of a looping hallway, no amusement.

He had only turned for a second to double check the scrolls. Just for a second ...

His arms are crossed over his chest, looking down at Akira, as he waits for an explanation. It will keep the boy underground, just as he's told - safe, away from harm, as he is an Academy Student more or less - so Iruka does not care that he is wasting time.
