Summary: Juudai is le sad.

It's got to be around five by now. Maybe at least 4:45 or so. The sun finally broke over the horizon nearly a half hour ago, sometime around Juudai's conversation with Jason. He was keyed-up then. Now, he's just tired. It's too early for this. It's too early to deal with this.

Surprisingly, it isn't raining in Amesato. It's humid enough that Juudai ends up taking off his jacket within a few minutes and slinging it over his shoulder. Kind of nice here, but he definitely prefers the cooler, mistier streets of Mizusato to Amesato's continental climate. He doesn't know why he came here. Oh wait, it's probably because Amesato is the closest village to Mizusato. That would be a good reason.

He gets one or two suspicious glances from a few early-risers out to seize the day, but for the most part, he's ignored. Juudai has a feeling he knows someone who lives in Amesato. Was it Raikou? - No, Raikou lives in the southeast of Mizusato, doesn't he? Someone lives here, one of the outworlders. His feet take him down several unfamiliar streets.

(He's tired. He should go to sleep and see if he can wake up into a less depressing day.)

Until he's standing in front of what looks like an authentic Edo-period Japanese tea house, complete with a view of the lakes behind it, with carefully manicured trees and tastefully arranged flowers. There's something about it - didn't someone say that they were opening one of these? - something that makes him stop in front and stare at the sliding doors, trying to think of it.
