This was a pretty cool place, Mikey liked it a lot. It had taken him a lot to get here though (more then he would like to admit). He enjoyed the feeling of the cobblestone streets on his bare feet, and the mist against his skin. The village itself was pretty nice, it looked a lot like the village from the Lap of the Gods, except there was, y’know, people in it. Mikey was here in the village to help out with the construction thing that Touya had said would be going on here. And he will get there... eventually, but first he wanted to explore a bit (work before pleasure just wasn’t right at all).
“What do you think Chips?” The turtle asked the orange baby monkey on his shoulder. Chips chittered happily and Mikey couldn’t help but laugh. He was just so cute! Mikey was always a sucker for cute things. Even if Chips did get into a lot of trouble... but in the end Mikey figured that he was worth it. Mikey wasn’t all that worried about being discovered, but for Leo’s sake (even if his eldest brother wasn’t around) the young turtle wore a brown cloak that he had picked up stole from some traveller on his way here. That was pretty much it in terms of disguise... Mikey thought that it was alright though.
Mikey passed underneath a lantern, and Chips decided that that was an excellent time to start an adventure. The little orange monkey grabbed the lantern and climbed it to the roof. Mikey let out a yelp of alarm and began chasing it wildly. “Chips noooo come back!” He yelped as the monkey jumped from rooftop to rooftop. Suddenly, the monkey jumped out of sight, and Mikey feared the worst.
