[ In the darkness is where a hitman is most at home, most submerged in his natural element. Tsuna's a kind mafia boss, nearly more-so than Dino even, and Reborn can respect that as Luce wasn't so different. But he's never believed his place to be in the light, never on the kinder side of things. He didn't become the world's greatest hitman by sitting around and playing nice. And having the chance to be on his own, back in his original body, he just couldn't pass it up.

Yomisato's probably the best place to live for a man like him and he finds it amusing that Tsuna and the others were drawn here. Or perhaps it was just coincidence? He's never gotten around to asking any of the others why they live in the most crime ridden town and he really doesn't care to either. Here is where he can make money, where he can put his skills -- at first a bit rusty since it's been so long being a tutor in an infant body -- to good use. A hitman for hire isn't his thing, he won't do such a thing without orders from Vongola, but fighting is an entirely ( ... )

[ It's not easy to miss chakra like that, the feel of it different from all the others around them. Hot, like the fine edge of a heated blade, and ready to stab. A calculated, trained feel, so different from the collective chakra of the natives that reverberate at different wavelengths. Kakashi felt him before he saw him, catching only the tail-end of the glance, his eye meeting with a darker pair for a moment. He studies him from a distance of a half dozen bar patrons between them, watching the way he handles his glass.

There's a certain carefulness to those hands, a kind of methodical calculation. Never is a move wasted, even in the most mundane of situations.

Well, Kakashi has nothing better to do, and he might as well get to know more of the others like him. As it is, this man had fought exceptionally well, and Kakashi's a little curious about him, would like to learn a little more. He flags down the bartender and sends over another drink, a second of whatever that gentleman on the end is having ( ... )
