Summary: Gau and Raikou get a new houseguest, since Iruka has come back to Kannagara. It'll be great, right?
[In truth, Gau is already cleaning the cave by the time Raikou messages him, because it's the thing that makes him feel better automatically. The cleaning supplies that he makes from scratch are deliciously citrus-scented, and he breathes in deep, no fear of harsh chemical fumes causing actual damage in this world (though he misses those too, sometimes.)
So when he gets the message, he sends a simple reply and moves on to the chamber that would be best for housing a guest. Of course, all the futons are aired out regularly anyway; when they decided to stay in the cave, they set it up for guests, have been adding furniture as they worked on rebuilding the town and everything else.
It's a cozy little home, and as Gau works to be sure that Iruka can be comfortable there as well, he refuses to let him think about his own insecurities. Iruka is a friend who could use a hand, and they are offering it.
When he hears Raikou come in, he's arranging a little vase of flowers on top of a chest in the spare cavern, and he calls out to him far more confidently than he feels.]
