Rating: PG? They're just having a civil conversation, I guess.
Summary: Dramatic plotting and intrigue and things. Standard hazards of knowing Lelouch.
It's funny, how one can lose track of time.
They said the skies opened up. They said blood had run in rivers across Kannagara for seven days and seven nights, except that it was more like one long night, a darkness that had covered the world as if it meant to uncreate it. To break it down and swallow it whole. They said when all seemed lost, the garden had blazed with light.
Lelouch doesn't remember any of this. He doesn't even remember how he possibly ended up in Raisato (it's not like he could have climbed here). It's all a blur. It all runs together after a certain point. The parts he does remember, he wishes he could forget. He would give anything to forget that, really.
In fact, that's exactly what he's doing right now - wandering Raisato trying to remember some things so he can forget others. He thinks he spoke with Kallen at some point. He might have seen Rolo on the Hitomi as well, though he's hoping that one turns out to be a nightmare. It wouldn't have been the first time, after all.
"Good morning," Lelouch says to a passing woman and child. She glares at him fearfully, hustling her son away as quickly as possible.
Well. That wasn't encouraging. But she dropped something in her haste to leave, and after glancing around, Lelouch bends to pick it up.
CELESTIAL CHRONICLE, it says in a bold, strong hand at the top, as Lelouch begins reading.
