If we are to be here for a while, we should perhaps consider working on growing some rice or wheat. We don't know how long the stores will last before the rats get at it.
[Iroh doesn't know much about grain cultivation, besides that it is intensive work. A farmer might spend most of his time growing rice for his own family, and sell only part of that. But, surely, they would have not been brought here to starve.]

There's a well in the centre of the village - if you could call it a center - I'm there at sundown every day, and I can bring you anything you need then.

Mmm... if your friend is burned, I can mix up something to help with the pain. I'm told honey is good for keeping the wound clean, if you believe old wives' tales. And I can see what I see in the forest to help.
