[Is this thing on?]
[Apparently it is, because suddenly there’s an image of a
slim, white-haired boy in his late teens with a scarred face in black and red, military uniform blinking in some surprise at what’s probably a holographic image of himself.] Tim! [A scolding tone at whatever is taking the video.] Warn me first! [Gold feathers flicker

[There's a moment of Allen's saucer-eyed blinking at the image of Iruka as his golem recognizes it should stop wiggling around and act like a proper camera-thing. Oh, that's how this thing works. He quickly regains himself as Timcanpy has settled anyway, though, and grins at the image of Iruka, peering perhaps a bit closely at the image as he's not used to actually communicating by video yet.] Hello! It's good to meet you.
[Well, he rather was pulled out of something important in general.] Sort of. [A twitch of his face that indicates he's probably thinking about how someone Up There hates him. But he is grateful for the contact and support so the smile he has for that is genuine if polite.] Thank you. I'm still getting settled. [Struggling to make the twitchy golden golem that some Snarky Prescence thought would make a good pass-off as a Hitomi behave correctly took a good deal of his time and he hasn't gotten very acquainted beyond that.]
I guess... I wouldn't know where to start? [In regards to processing what's happening here that's an understatement.] I kind of know what’s happening but not that much. What exactly are we supposed to be doing? [Ah, nervous grin. He knows there’s a reason for everything or at least believes there has to be, and will probably mentally fester until he knows what it is.]

Hmmm, well! I and a few others who've arrived in this wonderful place [such sarcasm] currently resides in the village of Hisato! It shouldn't be too far from you are. If you're near the very, very big tree. There are numerous amount of vacant houses that you can choose to stay at. Unless you have preference for a particular climate --
[Oh what the hell.]
-- really, Allen-san, did the person who speak to you not give you any sort of map or ... well, anything?
[Because if they didn't, Iruka can easily send his maps and coordinates to the young man.]

Hisato? No, I'm not familiar. [A moment of blinking. Climate preference? What? How permanent was this?]
[That's actually quite sobering. And further unreal.]
[The boy grins a bit sheepishly in response to Iruka's question. Oh, heh. That. Yeah.] When it comes down to it I'm sort of figuring it out as I go along, I guess. [Deflection - don't ask. Seriously though, he really would appreciate any help but won't push a stranger without invitation. He peers a bit curiously at the image of Iruka, though, considering the fact that the man was brought here as well.] How long have you been here then?

[Iruka sighs and just waves his hand. Really, nevermind. Just nevermind. Before he turns his attention once more at Allen, the smile is back, renewed.]
Me? Well, if I combine all the months I've been here, before and after I went home and was dragged back, hmm, I'd say about a year next month!
[And this is delivered a little too cheerfully as he fiddles with the Hitomi and actually sends over a few maps a coordinates for Allen to use.]
You should be receiving some maps soon! This place you're in? Probably not someplace you are familiar with. This is Kannagara~ Land of the gods. Where it's actually more of a bothersome headache rather than a beautiful garden like what I am assuming you're seeing around you~ You're going to possibly adore it here!
[Shows how much practice he's had explaining this, doesn't it?]

Almost a year? Really?
[It's a tone like he doesn't know the full impact of that really, or maybe too much so. He does grin quite appreciatively in regards to the maps, though.]
I got the maps! Thank you... Ah. I sort of knew the basics, but... [Grimace, then a guilty smile.] I guess it's.. still somewhat sinking in.
[Another grin; he does in this particular with strangers. There is suddenly a booming sound in the background, though, and the image scrambles and goes wild as the golem/Hitomi whirls to stare at the sight of a descending airship. The feed goes black around then.]
