002. Yagami Light - Video [Week 4, Day 3]
[ The hitomi activates to darkness. Light's hand is closed across it, turning it on, and there is the sound of movement before his hand moves suitably away from it. Instead, Light looks down into the device, revealing that not only are both of his hands free, and there's hay in his hair. His voice is very low as he speaks, as though he's trying to make sure that he doesn't wake someone. Certainly there's low, steady breathing coming from offscreen. L, inevitably.
A thin light comes in through a rooftop door. Judging by the goosebumps prickled across Light's bared forearms - his sleeves rolled up - it's a relatively cold morning; but then, he just woke up sleeping next to L, spooned up head to tail, having run around until they were both completely exhausted, and then spent the rest of the night telling each other stories. Somehow they'd fallen asleep, though he couldn't quite recall when.
Still, the task at hand is the hitomi, not the strange waking dream of being a child again. ]
Is everyone back to normal, or is it just us?
[ There's movement, and Light looks away for a moment, then looks back into the camera. He pushes a hand back through his hair to dislodge some of the alfalfa. ]
I'm going to go for the moment. Seems we have a lot to discuss.
