I would remind you that the serum itself was a success. That is why it got the gods' attention. There was no scam involved. The serum worked perfectly when it was tested on myself and my assistant and worked on all of you -initially.

I accept my part of the blame for this. However, I believe that the gods share some as well.

Tobias offered, knowing full well that it was experimental. He volunteered even before I offered the opportunity, in fact. As far as I know there are no laws of consent or guardianship here. If he offers, I will take him up on it.

The only real pain he suffered was due to the gods, not me. [Now, if the experimenting had continued he might not have been able to say that but for right now that is the truth.]
