Week 32 Day 5 | Text

[Four has always been the less independent twin of the two of them, and it shows by his general dislike for leaving the house on his own. He knows that he can’t stay inside all the time however, since he’s sure that he’s come pretty close to examining most of the household during his short time here. So he must prepare himself to venture outside!

Except outside if filled with cats and high places and other things that can hurt him.

He’d have to go out without Tobias or anyone to watch him, since Four doesn’t want to bug them whenever he wants to go outside. He wishes that he was braver! Every time he tries to go out, he doesn’t usually go any farther than the edge of the yard before turning on his heel and scrambling back inside. It’s frustrating, and if Three were here, he would call him a scaredy-cat. Four doesn’t want to be a scaredy-cat! He wants to be brave like Seven or Nine! Neither of them were ever afraid of going off on their own. Being brave means danger though, and Four doesn’t really like danger. He's not sure what to do.

Four paces on the tabletop in the kitchen as he considers his problem. He brightens as he suddenly gets an idea: What if he asks over the network? He has used the network before, so it shouldn’t be a problem! Nevermind that the last few times were by complete accident, but Four knows that he can handle this much. Humans have knowledge, as Four knows very well, and he can think of this as an opportunity to get it first hand instead of from books. He picks up his communicator with a look of determination.... and spends a few minutes staring at it as he mulls over what to say.

What exactly does he want to ask? Actually, there are a number of things that Four wants to ask, since asking questions is second nature to him, but there is one important question... If only he knows how to word it correctly.]

What does it mean to be brave? How can someone become braver than they actually are?

Can someone answer this?

Please?

[Four likes Please! It’s a word you use when you want something from people.]
