And so you experience one of the less pleasant aspects of this device: the broadcasting of dreams. It's one thing to watch another's dream but quite another to have people see your dream.

So you were infused with a piece of his soul. At least, so you were told.

[Four seriously does not want to talk to you right now.]

He made us. All nine of us. He died a while ago though.

[Can't you just feel the irritation radiating from the text? No? Well Four needs to learn how to communicate irritation better.]

Death claims all organic things eventually.

Yes it does.

[He sits down and pulls the blanket over his lap. Anger isn't a very productive emotion, so he attempts to calm down.]

It isn't natural when it claims everything at once.

No, generally not. Though your world has not been the first to face a total extinction of many species. [He thinks of those marvelous creatures termed "dinosaurs" and how he'd very much like to resurrect one. Or twenty.]

[He has to scroll back through his memories quite a bit before he realizes what Mayuri means, it's been a while since he's read anything about them after all.

dinosaur [ˈdaɪnəˌsɔː]
n
1. (Earth Sciences / Palaeontology) any extinct terrestrial reptile of the orders Saurischia and Ornithischia, many of which were of gigantic size and abundant in the Mesozoic era See also saurischian, ornithischian Compare pterosaur, plesiosaur
2. a person or thing that is considered to be out of date.

The subjects of dinosaurs, Earth Sciences (Which is a subject fairly limited in his own world), paleontology, and even biology are so vast that attempting to think of them all at once makes him dizzy, and he only knows bits and pieces of each of those subjects. He can't help but wonder about the things he doesn't know.]

Did the extinction of the Dinosaurs not happen in your world?

[If text could sigh, it would here.]It most certainly did happen. A pity, they'd have been interesting subjects. But all things considered, man most likely would not have held his place of dominance if these creatures still roamed the world. Still. [He can dream.]

Subjects?

What would you do with them?

Oh, many different experiments, mostly to fill in the blanks in the knowledge of what we already know about them. Their life styles, their habits, their methods of survival. [Then the experiments would get a bit more intricate and...painful.]
