[Week 31, Day 1] [Accidental Video]
[Yoite is just outside, just beyond the porch. Hat settled in the grass as the wind tosses the strands of his black hair, around his ear, and across his face that remains blank as he hugs his knees. Just watching the distance without really looking at it. As if somehow he was between looking at the purple silhouette of mountains and the steel grey skyline of Tokyo. Neither here nor there.
He's inside his mind. Working through it where the gears do no function together, where instead they grind against one another where unpleasant wrenches have been thrust into them.
Namely, a samurai and his ward. So briefly there then gone again, but entirely different than what they had been before. It was disconnected and he has no explanation for why once he felt anger and the next he felt bewilderment. It was time to fix this. He doesn't have time to waste pondering the inconsistencies of who they may or may not have been.
So he's decided. Decided to forget what no longer needs to be remembered. And to not concern himself with the things the could have but did not say.
That is, until there is a snuffling and a rustling amongst the grass. One that instantly causes a blue eye to shift to the side, and then that pale face to follow as he turns to see a white rabbit, red mark over it's eye, sitting on his hat. Sitting there as if he belongs there.]
