[Week 31, Day 5][Accidental video]
[The hitomi is swinging slightly, hanging from a tree branch that is jostling a little as a younger boy in black sweats, tattered shoes, and a dirty coat is settling himself on it. Though he is mostly out of view or blurry as the screen focuses more on a stag pacing into a clearing in the brush. It steps forward regally, stops with ears twitching and swiveling, then bows its head to graze. All the while the boy waits in silence, still as he can on the thinner branch.
He's waiting for the right opportunity. The perfect moment.
And in an instant he pulls on a rope, setting off several crudely fashioned crossbows, most of whom fail in the process of the experiment, but enough work so that three of four arrows pierce their mark, plunging into the buck without mercy and knocking it to the ground.
There is just a small sound of victory in a snort from the boy as the video cuts out.]
