[As he's looking at the Hitomi this morning, this dream catches his eye. He watches, smiling slightly at first--Raikou and Gau interacting with two men he doesn't know. It's a nice scene, restful and easy.
But his smile fades as he keeps watching. And when it gets to the end...
Well. It's better this way, that they went without saying goodbye directly. But it leaves him with a lot to think about. They went to serve the Gods, huh...?]
[Kanda does pay a little of attention when the device flickers on again, but he doesn't really know this guy. That, and it doesn't look like he's talking to him and Lavi at all. In which case, the broadcast is likely unintentional, and... well, there's no reason for him to treat it as anything but such.]
[So he doesn't say anything and simply ignores the device. Lavi is free to say something if he feels like it, though he doubts it.]
[Actually, Lavi's suddenly feeling genuinely social. Or perhaps the right way to say it would be; genuinely interested in knowing who knew Gau and Raikou. Or something like that.
He has seen the guy around, but they haven't really talked. Mmm...]
[At the sound of a half-familiar voice, he reaches over and picks up the Hitomi.]
Ah? [Damn, when did it turn on? Apparently long enough to catch the words he'd murmured to himself, judging by the other things this man says...
His eye is drawn to the fiery red hair. It's so bright it doesn't seem like a natural color, almost. He wonders of the other dyes it, like Raikou had, even as he replies, his face held in a neutral expression.] So I see.
More or less. The Gods had a hand in bringing us together, [quite literally, in this case] but we were getting to know each other.

...so that's it, huh.
[He leans back to lie on the ground, still within the frame of the video, barely.]
I hope you two know what you're doing. And good luck, wherever you are.

It recorded.
[Probably best to announce that.]
Knew 'em well?

The gods, eh? Yeah, you can kinda say the same when it came to me, too.
[Maybe a little bit of a long stretch, but not entirely.
Basically, if it wasn't for the dreams...]

They get too much enjoyment out of meddling in people's lives.
[A trait they share with him, he recognizes. But at least he doesn't force people to do things against their will.]

[He's fairly content, overall. What are you gonna do, basically.]

[A sound that could be a soft chuckle.]
Not a bad way to think of it.

Think that's the best way t'go about things.

[...actually, if this guy was a friend of Gau's and Raikou's, it might be a good idea to get his name.]
By the way, I don't think we've spoken before. My name's Ginko.

[And so they probably haven't, since his memory is kind of perfect and all.]
I'm Lavi.

Hmmmm... I'm curious... how long have you been here in Kannagara?

And you?

[A quiet huff of a sigh.]
It would be easier to tell if they didn't mess around with time.
