[Ginko didn't dream this--he saw it when he was checking his Hitomi this morning (amazing how he's so used to the things now). It's nice, actually, to see a good dream around here--one that isn't bloody, violent, or otherwise unpleasant. Especially to see it as Vincent's. The few times he'd spoken to the man... well, everyone needed reminders that there were good things, too.
He lets out a low chuckle. He saw the rather cute video between Vincent and that blonde boy.]
Not bad. Finally have a steady source of income, so that's nice.
[At least, a steadier source than killing small animals for their meat and the coin in their guts.]
Not much else is different, though. Wandering from town to town as usual, you know.
[Though the way he chooses to live... it's been bothering him a little, lately. He can hide out in the woods as much as he likes, but when it comes right down to it, people are less than an hour's walk away. And that will never change, no matter what he does.
It shouldn't bother him, but it does. And he's not sure what to do about it.]
A steady source of income is nice. I'm working in a cafe, or will be once it opens.
[He's already working, helping to set things up and get ready, of course. He pauses, raises an eyebrow.]
You make me tempted to get out more. There sure seems to be a lot to see in this world, but I mostly make the trip between Amesato and Mizusato regularly.
[The soft sound is full of understanding. He is abruptly reminded of the last time he visited Aya, and his introduction to a small girl... the sister she had searched for for so long, finally returned to her, and not a day older than the time she vanished.
So, as weird as this idea is... it's not really any stranger than the things he encountered back in his world.]
That must make things confusing, huh.
[Still... it's better that the brothers have each other. He still remembers how Aya was without her sister. Like she was lacking something important that could never be replaced...]
[It's pointless to bring up the story of Aya and Ito now, he judges. Maybe later, or perhaps even to Yuui and Fai themselves, he could tell it. They might appreciate it, considering...
[He closes his eyes, trying to consider the possibilities of explaining that, explaining everything that has happened recently, that has changed for him. Finally, he speaks, slowly.]
I'm happy about being part of this family, as well as another family. If I can manage to have both those things, I'll be relieved.
He lets out a low chuckle. He saw the rather cute video between Vincent and that blonde boy.]
Having fun?

[The easy, open laugh is something unfamiliar, a little too real.]
There's nothing like a kid-tackle to start your day.

I'll take your word for it.
It's been a while since we've talked. Been doing alright?

[He isn't lying to people near as often lately. Why? What is it that's changing?]
And you, Ginko? Have you been well?

[He might actually take advantage of the fact he's got money now, and eat there sometime. Gau can't be the only one to get his business, after all.]
It's nice, especially with the changing seasons now. The trees are getting ready for winter, and so are some of the animals.

[He can't help but laugh a little here.]
My friend is a little fickle. He keeps getting distracted experimenting with recipes from different worlds, so setting the menu is taking a while.

[A faint grin. It's nice to see someone so honestly happy, for a change.]
Who's your friend? I know I haven't met everyone, but I might know him.

[Vincent grins, gestures a little.]
Adorable blonds, blue eyes? There's one that's taller than me, and then there's a little one...
[He drops his hand, as if to indicate smallness.]

[A pause and blink at that description.]
But I thought Yuui and Fai were twins...?
Reply
[It took him a little work to understand it himself. Only in a world like this one could such a thing happen, he supposes.]
But Fai came here from one point on the timeline, and Yuui from another.
[It's easier to say it that way than to point out that Fai died as a child, and thus is a child now.]

[Not for Vincent, not really. After all...]
They're like family to me, so I'm used to it.
[It's still strange to say. But the smile on his face is so content.]

[He doesn't believe it can happen, not really.]
