[Video: Week 28, day 3]
[The Hitomi lies somewhere to the side where Miharu is sitting back on his heels on the ground, a sake bottle in his hand and a small bowl in front of him. And behind that bowl, there is a snake-like creature - people knowledgeable of Kannagara's creatures would recognise it as a tsuchinoko - that is dipping down to drink from the bowl.
What can he say; he's bored, and these creatures have proven to be interesting company. It's not the first time he meets one.
Although, while he doesn't know what they are, he's not so stupid as to think they're not dangerous. They could be, after all. But he has no reason to be overly suspicious. They seem happy as long as he gives them sake.
Oh, and he's aware that the Hitomi is on.
He's bored, okay.]
I really didn't expect for there to be animals that can talk.
[It raises its head to peer at him, hisses a little at him.]
The world is full of surprises.
[He nods, flops down on his bottom as he pulls a knee up to his chest, tucks his other leg under him.]
Not usually very pleasant ones, though, from what I've seen.
A pleasant one is just another surprise, then.
Mmm... Do people normally give you things?
[A pause.]
No. My appearance wouldn't be what you call cute enough to feed. It doesn't matter much to me, however.
I'd imagine someone with the intelligence to talk would see it as degrading.
It would take too much energy to care.
[Idly, as he pours up more sake:]
I suppose.
[He reaches out to cut the feed off.]
