[The screen flickers on, the angle of it tilting crazily for a moment, shifting quickly before it comes into focus.]
He's not dead.
[Jason's slurring his words, and his jacket and shirt are both off, and there are two new gashes across his chest, blood flowing from them. His wrist is raw too, new burns ringing the already ruined flesh.]
He's not fucking dead, and now Grayson's here, and the replacement, and I can't fucking remember ....
[He turns away from the screen for a moment, until just the angle of his jaw is visible, the muscle jumping as he clenches down. His face swings back to the video and he stares, suddenly intent, green eyes glowing practically.]
I have to be real, right? I've been here for a while, and...and I seem that right? [He laughs, sudden and sharp, and his fingers swipe through the crimson tracking down his chest.] Look I bleed. [The fingers slide up, and dig into the wound suddenly and he lets out a harsh cry of pain.] And I hurt. [The fingers dig in deeper, tearing at the raw edges and he shakes.]
[Voice low and ragged. ]
This is proof. It has to be.
