[It very much is, as much as probably both of them would hate to admit it. But maybe that's exactly why they're as alike and different as they are. [Lavi has to laugh as the butterflies settle on Kanda's hair. Or, well, he would have laughed if he had the energy, but now he just snickers. It works well enough, really. (But those butterflies actually look pretty good like that.]

[And "pretty tired" is an understatement, and there's more to it than just that, but that's enough information. The rest might be obvious but he's not so fond of the idea of sharing it. It's... uncomfortable.
Not like he really has something against saying it or anything like that, it's just a habit, something he does without really thinking. If they want to know more, they ask and he might answer. It depends on just how close and personal the subject is, really. Though he can be stubborn about the smallest of things too.
He doesn't berate himself for it, though. Actually, he doesn't really think it's wrong, exactly. Not fair to them, maybe, but... It's what he should do.]

You may read this as, 'I can wait that much after waiting four days to learn of your aliveness', even if it's a bit different from what he's actually saying;]
