I see our good Colonel was a very obedient little trooper back in his day.

[you interest Break greatly. Not to mention your power is fascinating. Much like a flame is to a moth. Only Break won't burn himself]

That's all we soldiers exist for, right?

[Obedient. Until the time is right. But Roy's not going to tell anyone outside his close circle. It wouldn't do to be betrayed.]

A text book answer. If this were a test you'd pass with flying colors.

[it's almost too perfect.]

Yet now you don't seem like a mindless killing machine following the teachings of its master. Could it be you might actually enjoy being taken away from your world?

I was always a good student.

[And a good people reader.]

Even a dog needs time to rest. If I can't go home, I might as well take advantage of the scenery. I can't say it's been much of a vacation, though.

[what a coincidence. So is he.]

Too true. A shame things have to be so hectic at the moment. It leaves little time for rest.

[Good, good. Roy likes a good challenge.]

Sadly... [A sigh. He truly laments this. He can't say Hawkeye doesn't need a gun after this.]

Let's hope it ends soon.

It should hopefully. Unless this is meant to be a purge of us spirited individuals since we don't feel like just playing nicely in this little social experiment of the Gods.

[Break doesn't really mind the violence and carnage. Though he does wish he could contact Lady Sharon. It's worrying but with Eques she could probably be far safer away from him.]

[Ah, a subject he's been wanting to talk about with anyone and everyone.]

Do you really think that's why we're here? [Opinions matter a lot. A good leader can move forward without them.]

I don't think, mister Mustang. I know. Our hosts said it themselves. They seek to teach us a lesson in harmony. Look around you. Does this look like a reward for being obedient little guineapigs?

I could call myself god or the devil. In my world, either one's a pretty good description.

But just because someone calls themselves a god doesn't mean it's true.

Hahaha. For some reason I have no doubt you fit either of those positions.

[yes Break can see that quite easily. Especially after that lovely dream]

I never said I consider them GODS. To be honest they are nothing more than children with powers too big for their own hands.

[Simply a smirk at that.]

Harmony. Or do you think that most recent 'announcement' was more accurate? We could be soldiers.

I would have to say the latter. No matter how you look at it, the majority of those brought here are well versed in the art of combat. Some are even seasoned veterans such as yourself.

If you think about it, soldiers would be the prime targets to promote harmony to. We're the killers. It'd make sense if they wanted to 'rehabilitate' us.

Then again, it's hard to be convinced after these past few days. I suppose it's a matter of opinion.

That is also a valid theory. But for something they want to teach us, they are certainly not holding any courses on it. Instead they let us go about doing what we want, observing us and only bother to come out if something bad enough happens.

From what I hear, that's the traditional godly position on things.

I don't think we're here for a reason at all. It'd make sense.
