Akuma, that is.
That's nothing new but this being an entirely new world and them having no Supervisor to tell them where to go or assigning them particular missions to deal with things, it somehow just gets even more hectic. Understandable, probably, because how many places in the world are attacked by Akuma and without them being able to do anything? Lavi hasn't really thought much of that, and it really has hit him now.
It's really not an encouraging thought, that probably no matter how many Akuma they kill the exact same amount or more are made. Well, the Earl is only one person but he has brokers to help him and if he takes a day to focus on making Akuma then he could make a lot.
And the Earl is here... Does he have any builds with him? Hopefully he doesn't, or this could get ugly.
Lavi has an idea where the Akuma came from; obviously, if Kannagara can pull them from their world then surely it can pull Akuma too, and thus,

[And so a voice speaks. He pauses, ducking behind a tree, and chuckles softly. If not hell, then this must be a dream of some sort. ...but you never really knew, did you? He was raised a good Lutheran boy, but he never really believed in anything greater than himself, and so he accepted it when he appeared here. It was not that he thought he had sinned, no, but the simple act of not believing was enough to send him here, he was certain.
But he was not going to bow.
So he smiled softly, checking the map on the device before replying. Everything was in a strange language- Japanese or Chinese, by the looks of it.]
If this is to be believed, somewhere between...Himorogi and Hisato.
Okay. I'll get there as quickly as I can. Hopefully it won't be longer than half an hour.
[He's intending to use Tettsei to get there quickly, because you never know what you can face when out and about today, but if he runs into any more Akuma he'll have to take care of them and that could hold him up for a little while. Hopefully not too long though.
At least there's no more right here, and that's good.]
[His voice is warm, but his expression mild as he picks another leaf off of his suit. He can't hear anything right now, and he's been fortunate so far- as a normal human, he'd be completely outclassed by the monsters.
And it doesn't even occur to him that there might be superhumans here. They're something reserved for fiction- reality being that humans were just mundane creatures. Mundane, weak-willed creatures.
He nods softly.]
I shall try.
[And then a soft 'hmm?']
Oh, so this isn't the normal state of things? How curious.
[He chuckles softly, but he listens carefully to the next words this boy he's talking with has to say. Curious, indeed. What was this place?]

Lavi laughs breathlessly as he puts the hammer's head on the ground.]
Gods, no, that'd be hell.
[It's worse than back home, plenty worse. It's everywhere, there's pretty much no time for a breather. It's... hard. It's tearing at his muscles and making him tired, and it doesn't look like it's going to end any time soon. He's not expecting that either.
That sure is something to look forward to, mhm. It's probably a good thing he's not entirely unused to it, though.]
Might get a bit... "windy" now, just so ya know. Ya can hang up if ya want.
[And he mutters;]
Extend.
[And is off, shooting into the air rapidly and steering towards Himorogi. The wind gets very loud over the Hitomi, yes.]

[And he listens until the wind turns into near-static, and he sets his face in annoyance. There are a few moments that he just listens, and then he forces the annoyance out of his voice, his tone measured, polite...nearly hopeful, even. He's gotten good at approximating emotions.]

[He pauses at the crash, though he does not show any outward fear or startling, he simply pushes the glasses up his nose and frowns slightly. For a moment, he thinks he is being attacked and will die here so soon after arrival, but then he catches a good look at the boy and smiles a bit.]
Ah, there we are.
[He smiles warmly, and holds out a hand to shake.]

[He shrugs a little as he drops his hand to his side, allowing his gaze to wander for a moment to check the surrounding area before he shifts on his feet and hoists Tettsei into a more comfortable position on his shoulder. It looks safe around here for now, but he's not going to drop his guard.
Exorcists never drop their guards, barely even at home anymore.]
