[It's not long after midnight yet, and already this day is just charming. Rin is not looking very good; she's been up since the ring of the Hitomi at midnight and is now sporting bags beneath her eyes. She doesn't look sleepy, though - the ring had her wide awake, anticipating whatever would come next. And she did see what came next. It's a flashback, a déjà-vu of sorts: the shadows that seem suddenly like something's living, something's creeping in there, and the water that has turned to blood. Rin knows not to drink that water.
It brings with it that eerie feeling of being brought fresh into this world and with little roots and foothold, of being more vulnerable. Rin knows it's just her emotions, knows that she's more intimate with this landscape now and can navigate through it, but she can't quite shake it, that sense of fragility.
At first, she waits. Waits and waits, hope that it may pass or turn out to be unreal sinking with every minute. Marco has come into her room and they have talked, and Rin has told him of her experiences with this. Over an hour later, she's starting to get thirsty. And that's when she knows she's got to do something.
She's been holding on to and staring at her Hitomi for the whole time, so it's like a thawing process when she goes through the motions that let her contact Iskierka, fingers shaking faintly.]
[private to Iskierka]
Iskierka, are you around? I hope you're doing okay!
Uhm... could you possible make your way to where I live? I could kinda... really use a hand here.
[private transmission end]
[Once done calling Iskierka, and damn near praying for her to arrive soon, she swiftly goes over to a public transmission. It's a video, because Rin thinks that if she's going to dispense advice, she might as well put her face to it. Even if it puts herself at risk; she has poweful allies this time around.]
Is this what the good lady meant by having a party? One hell of a party, that is.
Ha, ha.
[Her voice is saturated with sarcasm: this again, she can't help thinking, wincing at how jaded she's become. But she's glad for it, truly. At least she has an idea of what to do.]
You know, this is starting to look really... a lot like something I've seen before, here. The bloody water. And if it's that, I'd uhm, I'd just like to tell you [deep breath] it's not going to be pleasant. Last time we had bloody water, and this particular feeling of doom, hell pretty much did break loose.
But please remain calm! There should be some save havens. I think they were in some of the shrines. Been so long.
Just - please be careful. Be mindful of everything, and try to find somewhere safe. Maybe the citizens actually know where to go - you'd have to ask them. They weren't here last time this happened.
Asano Rin, out.
(OOC: EDITED, because it was too early, and I also decided to tone things down a bit. Sorry for the inconvenience! OH and, OOCly, take any advice Rin might dispense with a grain of salt. She's going off what she's experienced before here.)
