[The hitomi clicks on, Mayuri is in the lab. A large centipede creature is in the background on a table - well, most of it - flayed, in the process of being dissected. The goo that constitutes its insides is now found on the outer shell of the beast and on Mayuri himself. It's clear he doesn't care that the innards are on him, though he is careful to not touch lab equipment that is not used in the dissect of the beast.]
It seems that my serum was quite the success, if not for the interference of the ones that call themselves "gods". So the dream realm is what they hold most dear. Isn't it fascinating how defensive they became once someone showed some modicum of control over it other than themselves.
[In short, the serum worked, the nightmares were the god's fault.]
I'm curious to know what other interactions you've all had with these beings. Are they always so stringent or have they actually helped some of you?
