[Naturally, there's only one priority for him right now. He stops, reaches into his pocket, and pulls out a Duel Monsters deck in a practiced motion, looking through it and frowning.]
Hey, wait a minute! This isn't mine... there must've been a mistake. I couldn't take this away from someone who needs it! Um, is anyone missing--
Johan! Wait!
[Johan whirls around to look at the assorted Crystal Beasts gathered around him. They look visibly exasperated and unsure what to do. He doesn't even remember them...?]
You don't even remember? At all? But we're your family!

[There's a clear quality of childlike wonder to his voice. He's considered spirits his real family for as long as he can remember, but... he doesn't even know these ones, and yet they're already so taken to him and worried about him. Clearly, it's only a good sign, he concludes. Meaning, they're good spirits!]
Oh. You guys must be pretty new, then! Ah, welcome to my family, then! My name's Johan-- wait, ehehe, you already knew that! But that's okay.
[He extends a hand in "greeting". The Crystal Beasts just kind of collectively laugh and shake their heads. Better than flat-out rejection, isn't it? Truthfully, Johan is kind of bewildered.]

We told you. We're your family. We've been your family for a while, and we'll always be your family, even if you don't remember it.
Oh... well, that's okay. I guess you can be my family for now! But I wanna find my other spirits, too! Then we can all be a family, right?
[This time, they sigh rather than laugh. Considering Johan was the one who gave UP his old deck for their sake, it's kind of ironic to them... maybe he doesn't have the same decision-making skills as he did when he was fifteen, certainly, but it will have to do for now.
Maybe, though... Cobalt Eagle seems to consider something for a moment, and then speaks past Johan towards the recording.]
