[Matt's holding a cigarette, but he seems unaware that it's gone out. His goggles are pushed up onto his forehead, and he looks, and is, exhausted

[After the last few days and all of the help Matt and Elfangor have given him, Fai can't help but wonder if the boy is prepared for such an assault as he's about to launch.
All these children, so rash and young.
But these two have shown him kindness, more than once, so really... if he can help the boy and gather more information on these 'locals' at the same time, he can do this.
Besides, apparently one of the women is also staying there with Yamamoto and Gokudera, so there is a multi-layered interest for him, really.
So he brings up the video to reveal the similar, slightly somber face from the night before, and simply cants his head to the side.]
If you can show me on a map where they're being held, and go over what information she has, I can tell you what else we need to move out tonight.
[ A humorless smile, then,]
I have some experience with situations like this, child.
[Matt flushes a little, but ignores his embarrassment as pointless, and sends Fai the coordinates Road sent him.]
I think they deliberately targeted women, because they assumed they couldn't defend themselves as well. But J, she's a vampire. [This isn't the time to be coy about things.] They had some way of making her weaker than she ought to be.
Tell me that again in another hundred years and I might believe you. Until then...
[A wink, before he glances at the coordinates with a frown. Because that does sound problematic. The fact that Matt had admitted the fact of her other than human state doesn't appear to have bother Fai in the slightest, nor are his questions aimed at that, exactly.]
Has she given you any ideas at all as to their method of limiting her abilities? And Matt? I suggest we go together, scout the area, and come up with both an infiltration and exit strategy.
After all... you do want to successfully save her, don't you?
[And for a moment, he feels as if he's talking to Syaoran. Makes him miss the kid. Bur now is hardly the time...]
Yeah, but. Got the feeling time's of the essence here, man.
[Is it weird to call Fai that? He doesn't look all that much older than Matt does, but from the way he talks... Not important now, and Fai probably wouldn't spill anything, anyway.
Matt sighs, and gets a fresh cigarette.]
I dunno how, but it worked on someone with different kinds of powers, too.
[He's starting to think he ought to put his faith in good old-fashioned projectiles, instead of in morphing. And Fai does have a good point.]
From what she said, it wasn't all the time. I think I can do a pretty good disguise, if we're gonna scout things out. How about you?
Give me twenty minutes and meet me in my room at the cafe.
[A pause and a humorless smile.]
I'll get us some of the local clothes and some proper weapons. You try to see if you can get any other information from her that you can - and I mean anything. Sounds, scents, if she's noticed any patterns in the lower limiting...anything.
'kay. I've got a proper weapon. I mean, my best friend does, and I'll borrow it.
You don't, um, happen to know any locals who might be willing to help, do you? Like, friends of my bosses or something? They don't hafta do anything, I'd just need to see them for a sec.
[With a sigh, Fai realizes that Matt and elfangor had left before Yamamoto had gotten back to the cafe with Gokudera's body. mat didn't know that...]
Gokudera's dead. Yamamoto brought him back last night and he was buried this morning so...I'm not going to ask Yamamoto right now, if he's still even awake.
[Matt saw Gokudera's video, but he didn't know what happened after it. Too much death already, and for no reason, no fucking reason at all. His voice has gone cold when he speaks again.]
I need to touch one of the natives. It only takes a few seconds, and I don't really care if they try to fight. Better if they don't, of course. Then I'll be able to morph into a copy of them.
If that's the case, simply 'trip' and fall on one enroute. Then be a properly contrite boy and apologize for the clumsiness and help them to their feet. Doesn't need to be complicated, right?

Is it something I can possibly do for you?

Alright, I'm out. Meet you here in about thirty then.
[With that, he doesn't wait - just pockets the Hitomi and heads for the door, locking up the cafe behind him.]
