At present, it's not clear how many have gone missing, been attacked, or murdered. We need to somehow account for everyone and there is no register that we can use as reference.

[ Kakashi is just starting to realize the extent of how disorganized they really are. ]

Judging from the network, it appears that there were at least three deaths, and two or three taken hostage. But there may very well be more that haven't made it to the network.

So at the very least we have six confirmed casualties. Given how our attempt to rescue Lelouch also ended in failure, I think we can expect those other three to end up no differently.

[Heavy words but realistic ones. On the other hand, given that death is not permanent in this place they do have a small advantage.]

What would you have me do, Hatake Kakashi? [He isn't making polite conversation, asking how he could possibly help. He already knows. Kakashi wants his sword, or he'd never ask for him. This is a demand to know what Kakashi himself is doing.]

It is clear that we have functioned for too long without any kind of organization. I had thought that we could continue on without such a thing. But given recent circumstances, it's become evident that we need to create some kind of centralized system of power. Some kind of force to protect "Other-Worlders" like ourselves.

But all that he says is true. They do, at the very least, need to protect themselves.]

[She's still a bit miffed at Kakashi over their initial introduction, but she does have to agree with him here. They do need to organize, or else more people will get hurt. And while she certainly doesn't know all of the Others here, she does feel like she should help protect them. Fortunately, Iskierka can offer that.]

Quite right! And should anyone need to travel, I am happy to offer protection to them. The roads are far safer when I am present.

Well of course they haven't tried to attack me, they would have to be mad to try that. There have been occasions where I have flown ahead scouting and returned to a caravan being attacked by bandits, but they all run as soon as they see me.

[Of course, her misstep is in assuming that they will never try to attack her, since they haven't yet. It hasn't even crossed her mind that they may just be waiting for a moment when they can successfully take her down.]
