[This is an unusual thing: a video post from Rin. She has decided something, and that is that, as one of the guides for newcomers, she needs to put herself out there. Needs to make herself visible. People are going to see her anyway, if she escorts someone from Himorogi. And it just generally looks better if they can see her face from the get-go.
For her, it still means taking a risk. And she's not entirely sure she's ready, still -- but sometimes in life, you've got to do things you're not ready for. And so she does.
Her voice and expression are controlled, measured and curt. She's still angry, because of the latest news post available on the network, but she's determined not to show it.]
Greetings to everyone who might see this.
As you may know, some of us people who have been here for some time have taken it upon ourselves to build up a support system for newcomers -- and, well, for everyone. In that respect, I am currently formulating a written "guide" of sorts. It will be a collection of crucial information any newcomer should know as soon as possible.
But for this, I need your help! I need both people who have a wide range of knowledge about Kannagara, for while we are a number of people, there could always be something we may overlook; and newer people who might still have questions about one thing or another and who can tell us what they would like to know or would've liked to know upon arrival.
Please think about it. Take a little time to collect your knowledge or questions, if you like. I'd be grateful for any contribution.
My name is Asano Rin, and you may contact me anytime at
my voicemail.
[The feed doesn't cut of right away, and you may see the slightest hesitation in her countenance. She feels like saying something about the recent developments, like asking other people for their opinion on what to do about it -- but she keeps her mouth shut. This is not the time or place for this, she decides. For now, she'll just do this. Something that is most likely to be productive and helpful.
Having arrived at this conclusion, she ends the message.]
