the end of the beretta?

"umm so yeah the beretta caught on fire" was what my conversation started with my dad this afternoon. the car had started smelling really bad on the way home from my opas today, and it wasnt until we were in the driveway when we realized "dang the berettas on fire!". luckily eric got it out with the fire extinguisher and the hose, but the exhaust system is probably useless along with the rear left tail light. we think that since 2 of the spark plugs arent firing in the engine, the extra unburned gas is going into the catalytic converter and muffler, and when they heat up from the exhaust, the gas ignites into the flames that we saw. so this may be the end of the beretta :(. it is fixable, but whether this constant fixing is worth it or not is questionable. buying another used car is probably out of the question as i dont have enough money to buy it then pay for insurance/gas/etc. and of course this happens the day before registration so i cant get that car thing for the athens parking lot. this sucks.
