Had so much fun! Memi got to touch his hand and stuff because I let her be in the very front, thisclose to the stage. I was about 3-4 people behind her, just having a great time, rapping along with every song.
Best Moment(s): He was rapping "Keep It 100" and I was throwing the words down like nobody's business. He looks over and sees me going toe to toe on the words with him and he busts out in this huge grin and points to me, and we rap together for like 2 measures. *swoon, squee, and etc*
During "Who Wit Me" he about freaked out when he seen Memi spitting the words, it was obvious he was like "whoa", but in a good way. So there's this one line where he says /mink coats rabbit furs/anything that she prefers/... and he pointed right at her. Awesome to the nth power.
Getting props from people around me, they recognized I was a fan of his music, y'know? Don't get me wrong, I think he is fine as all get out, but he is one of the few rap artists I truly enjoy and I represented last night. Mouths were ajar as they saw me hitting every rhyme, it was pretty cool.
Suck Like Hell Moment: I knew he was going to be signing autographs afterwards, he always does. Memi and I were already chillin' at the booth. She had one more picture left and it was destined to be used on him, hopefully of us together. Anyway, he performs "Obsession" with Frankie J and he even announces he'll see us at the booth. After about 15 minutes of waiting a crew person comes up and tells us he isn't going to be able to come. And the police were there to kick everyone out the park. Can you say crushed?
There was an afterparty, and I could've gotten in for free, but what would I have done with Memi? So yeah, that kinda sucked, but seeing her having a good time and getting to be that close to get handshakes from 2 music artists (3 if you count her getting to dance with the dude from Free Sol) makes up for any afterparty.
And I was on the radio. How do I always manage to get on something( big screens, dvd's, the news) when I go to concerts? Not gonna complain though.
