I need a new job
We have entirely no cashiers in the store. They laid off about 18 people because we weren't making the sales to keep them and they've cut the rest of our hours. Sales my ass, this Saturday I did over $13K, which is pretty impressive seeing as I normally do about 9K-11K. Now that's just the environment we're working under, then yesterday, someone smelled smoke from the cash office so we had to evacuate the store while the fire department came and checked on everything. That was fun.
Well, a few hours after that we find out that one of the managers walked out because when he called the store manager to tell him about the whole evacuation and stuff, he got his shit jumped. Then the assistant manager jumped his ass too! David was an incredible manager and didn't deserve to be treated like that. We're all ready to quit and get the hell out of dodge this store has gone so far down the tube. Bring back Gary damnit!
I swear, if my school doesn't get their ish together! I had to take out a student loan to pay for my summer classes, and since the sessions are I & IV, the split into 2 disbursements, the second of which I will not get until sometime this month. Why did they send me a bill for the remaining amount if they know they're getting a check? Which normally I wouldn't care about but they now have a hold on my account because of it and I want to know what my grade was for the class I just took. *growls* Dumb asses.
In lighter news, today starts my wonderful month with no school. Take the kids to summer camp by 8:30 and I have 5 hours just to myself Monday-Thursday. *dances*
