Layout/Community Profile Contest!
Hello Eighters! It's been a while so we decided that we should hold a layout/community profile contest! You can submit either a layout design or a community profile design or both, if you wish. There will be a separate poll for each contest.
A submission post will come up shortly where you can comment with your layout/community profile submission. Submissions are NOT allowed in this post, only questions if you have any.
The deadline for the layout/community profile contest will be
Valentine's Day, February 14th 2012, 11:59pm JST.
This gives you all a month to come up with awesome and creative designs!
Requirements for layout submissions:
Layout Specifications:
1. Must be s2 with sidebars for easier linking
2. Text must be readable.
3. Colors must be pleasant to the eyes
4. Navigation should not be confusing.
Submission Guidelines:
1. Create a test journal to test the layouts in.
2. A submission post for layouts will be posted in about a week. All comments will be screened. Please provide a screencap of your layout as well.
3. After the mods have compiled the layout submissions, there will be a poll with screencaps of submitted layouts.
4. In each submission post, it must have the following:
layout style: flexi squares, smooth sailing, etc
sidebar: y/n
compatible with: basic, plus and/or paid
Objective: Create a profile design (banner and userinfo table) for the kanjani8 userinfo. The mods will organize the text.
Community Profile Specifications:
1. Create a profile design that can cleanly and clearly organize the rules and basic info for the community.
2. Colorbars and profile images are not needed--just a design that can incorporate our rules and info.
3. Make the images a manageable size--not too big that it crowds the profile or too small that you can barely see it.
4. Use a table for the profile so text can be added or removed without altering the image greatly. The profile must be expandable.
5. Be creative!
