The plane took off at 3pm from Pudong in Shanghai to Hongkong today. I suspect that this particular flight isn't anything special. It probably leaves for Hongkong daily, with nothing to rave about...
Except that today's very hazy. No, the plane was still on its way to Hongkong. And someone on that particular flight from Shanghai to Hongkong will be stopping there to make his transfer to Taiwan at 5pm when the plane lands.
Ju, bonne courage...j'attendrai.
In the meantime, reporting live from the recently receded floods from Michelle's bathroom - nah, I'm really slacking in the office now but it's true that the floods only stopped yesterday. Decided to give my washing machine another go two days ago - laundry bills piling up so I didn't think I would want to waste any more money paying more than I should - bad move. Out came the water and flooded my bathroom...woohoo...swimming in Shanghai, anyone? Indoor pool some more. Choked pipe apparently...but it was waaaaaay too deep for me to even reach for the hole to find out what exactly was choking it up. According to the landlord, I'm the first tenant to inhabit this place...I don't think I could have shed so much hair while pissing over the last 3.5 months!
Grandma made it with handwashing for more than 40 years. I don't see why I can't repeat her feat. The bathtub is really there for another reason.
Never mind the choked pipe...turns out that the toilet bowl's decided to throw up too.
We hope that you choke, that you choke
We hope that you choke, that you choke
Shanghai's getting warmer these days. Definitely. How else does one perspire under one's coat while walking along snazzy Nanjing Xi Lu, trying to get a cab back to the office?! That spells good news. If I had to live with another cold day in Shanghai with the drama that's been going on during the past two weeks, I will just drown myself the next time I decide to wash my clothes with the washing machine...
And would you give your significant other a tube of toothpaste as a gift?
Would you tell him/her/it that tomorrow is another day to look forward to something fresh even though you don't quite believe it yourself?
Would you sleep with him/her/it, still, if you're wondering whether or not if it's really him/her/it that you'd be waking up with/to?
Don't mind me - I've been getting to sleep with difficulty these nights. Chest pains. Literally heartache.
But I shall just be happy with the new found company in Shanghai while I wait till Sunday, when the plane brings Ju back to Shanghai from Hongkong/Taiwan. Surprise surprise...I found Singaporeans/Malaysians! So it's gonna be Makan, Mahjong and Maoming Lu...*evil laughter*
And Buck, Angela's really not interested in men. For now.
Gotta get ALL of Radiohead's CDs!
