(no subject)
After survivng the likes of Rei de Gado, numerous Crab Jokes (especially with Anthony's refusal to get a haircut) and everything else, there's just one challenge I tend to fail on every time.
Surviving Simbang Gabi.
For the people who don't know what that is, it's a 9-day religious celebration that starts on December 15 and ends at December 24, just before Christmas. There's just one problem with it (and it always happen every single year)... waking up just in time for it 5 AM mass. *0* I missed the first day because I knew I wasn't going to wake up on time (and that happened... I woke up at 6 AM), but I didn't think my mom would miss it, too! (>TT)>/ *sigh* I'm going to be so sleep-deprived when it's all over... (>XX)>/
Other than that, I went to Anthony's house last night for the last studio meeting of the year. I may not be working at a con next year (but attending as a professional instead) for the sake of putting out a much better display. Kam kept saying "douche-bag" a lot, which kind of irritated me. It's not offensive (at least I think so), but I needed him to stop saying it for a while. So, this is what I did:
Kam:"Douche-bag... God, I love that word."
Me:"You do know some women can't wash themselves very well down there... I mean, why do they need that bottle for?!"
Kam:*is in shock*
Me:"Also, that bottle can be used as a sex toy!"
Kam:*is still in shock* "You know what, I wasn't expecting that (from you) at all... I'll just go play World of Warcraft now~" *goes off to play, but is still in shock for a couple of minutes*
Albert:*is writing something* "I give mad props to you, Christine."
T_T *grins* Anthony still doesn't like it when I say my "interesting comments" though... (>00)>/ //\c(**c)/\\
