This appears to be doing the rounds:

I currently have 349 works archived at AO3.

Pick a number from 1 (the most recent) to 349 (the first thing I posted there), and I'll tell you three things I currently like about it.

(please, for the love of god, don't pick one of the early ones.)

#199 is this untitled crossover snippet for The Night Watch and Buffy.

Three things I like about it:
1) I like the crossover itself. It makes sense that other countries treat their vampires differently; hell, in many places, the ways of killing them are different. So I liked mixing up the Buffyverse slayers and the Russian Others. The Loght and Dark are separated differently in that universe, and an apocalypse would need to be a team effort. But the Slayers tend to waltz in and rule the roost. This is one of the main perceptions of American military attitudes as well. So a Light v Dark battle, where Light can't figure out who is in charge - and where Dark seems to have legitimate grievances - was interesting. Plus, I wanted to see someone from the Buffyverse come across the grimy, brutal world of the City Light Company, blood vodka and all.
2) It's unfinished, but the POV is - and was going to remain - that of Anton. Antony's English is not great, and the Jossverse characters speak a mixture of slang and pop culture references that would go completely over his head. I wanted to do something about the ridiculous ways those characters speak - much as I love them - and surrounding them with people who don't speak the language was fun.
3) Anton is still a dick. No redeeming of Anton.
