Ooo, Salisbury Crags! I remember that - mostly them being a bit steeper than I'd expected. :)
Anyway, hope you had a good time, and hopefully the week-end will take care of the rest! (also: caffeine is not relaxing, is it? *scratches head* Or do I just not drink enough of it to know? )

They were fine, although the ground was rather soft from the night rain so I was glad I hadn't tried Arthur's Seat. Had to dissuade some clueless tourists from attempting it when the wind picked back up.

Caffeine is definitely not relaxing, although it will get me working just as quickly as feeling fully rested would... So my body pretty much has two options: recover, or be drugged into submission. Mmm, coffee. Haven't had any caffeine for quite a while so I think the kick would be as strong as ever if I were to take it back up...

Hm, I'm slowly but surely becoming a caffeine addict myself, to be honest. Damn those coffee machines at the office to hell - and it's not even free coffee! This morning, I got up too late to have my usual cup, and only woke up three hours later (including one hour spent semi-comatose at my desk).

How did the writing in Edinburgh go, by the way? Did you get a good start on that matrithon story? Edinburgh seems like a pretty inspiring place...

So-so. I got some stuff down on paper, but I didn't get a whole story formulated. Hoping that Sunday afternoon might produce something a bit more concrete... although if it doesn't, not sure if I'll meet the deadline. *shrug* C'est la vie.
