Steer instead of steered
Something I wrote back in 1995:
"Dear, regardless of how people feels, people can be driven. Sad can be made to become happy, and vice-versa. Do not rely solely on their initial reactions, and come up with a too early conclusion. It is the processes and the efforts afterward that really matters. Don't think about 'do they like me?', but think about 'I'll make them love me'."
