Dear Ticketmaster,
You Bastards. First off, I'll ignore the fact that you suck in general and have a monopoly on ticket distribution in America which allows you to charge obscene amounts of money for any number of events that you sell tickets to. I'll also ignore that you recently made a deal with eBay to auction off tickets instead of selling them directly to us customers. This allows you to cash in on the highest bidder instead of the public. What a great way to ensure seeing things like music, sports, and theatre will be impossible for anyone but the financially well off. I digress. That's not why I'm writing you today.
While browsing online for a guitar tab of one of my favorite artists, the late great Jeff Buckley, I noticed an advertisement link that said "click here to see Jeff Buckley in concert." I clicked on it, intrigued to say the least. Where did the link take me but my friendly Ticketmaster. Now I realize that this is an automated advertisement and all, but give me a break. It's been 7 years now since he died. Show a little respect to the fans of Jeff Buckley and the legacy he left behind by taking him off of your "available to exploit for money list."
Warm and fuzzy thoughts in your general direction,
Scott :p
p.s. I'm boycotting you and telling all of my friends to do the same
