Yarn...
No, not yarn as in story, yarn as in knitting. I'm developing a bit of a knitting habit. And, more to the point, a yarn-buying habit, which I can't really afford to feed. So, I've been thinking of doing some kind of yarn swap. So, two things:
1) If you knit, or crochet, or something similar, lets do a surprise swap. I'll send you a ball or two of random yarn from my stash, and you do the same for me, which we then both knit/crochet into something. Anything (although I might allow a veto rule - one thing you're allowed to say you *don't* want). And then send it back, as a surprise. This goes for anyone at all on my friends list/facebook and as many of you as fancy it.
2) If you don't, then you can pick something you want me to knit (or crochet) you, and buy me the yarn you want it knitted from (we can work something out if you don't have a clue). I'm trying to work mostly from free online patterns, but I'll try to find what you want, or you can buy me a real pattern ;) I'll do this for maybe the first two or three people, and I'm not promising a date I'll be finished by (though I do promise it will be asap!)
