(no subject)
So in my procrastination from studying for my final, I decided to pop through some old message boards I use to frequent for EQ. Eq was such a big part of my life for such a time, and I was really involved with posting on a few different sites. Anyway, the platform being used was originally EZboards. Then most of the communities I was part of switched to PHP service. Then, well, EQ started getting old, losing playering, combining old servers, and generally the number of people frequenting the old boards dwindled because they weren't gaming anymore. Some time after that, the old EZboards and PHP pages migrated again to Yuku. And in this migration, it seems that all those original postings...were lost to the times. :( I was looking back at old threads, and the first post is there, but all the intermediate posts between that and the merger are blank. This is very depressing to me...its like, this whole section of history of my life has been lost to the times. Its so sad...all thoses posts, all those relationships between community members...all of that is just gone. :( Its too bad. I mean, I understand the need - alot of hosting space for content that isn't really viewed anymore...but even still. Too bad, too bad. :(
